Auto Preservers Shipping Policy
Our Shipping & Handling Charge is "Per Order", not per line item Auto Preservers charges one shipping & handling charge "per order". We do not charge additional shipping for each line item as some companies do. Our intent is to cover the actual cost of shipping and handling your order. So, for example, if you order 2 replacement remotes, instead of only 1 replacement remote, you do not pay any additional shipping cost for the 2nd remote. The "per order" shipping & handling cost is the same for 1 remote or for 2 remotes. Same Day Shipping Auto Preservers strives to have all products advertised on our Web site "in stock and available to ship" at all times. Our "in stock" percentage rate consistently exceeds 98%, and most of the remaining "out-of-stock" situations (less than 2% of the time) are due to a manufacturer's back order situation. Please email us, or call us, if you need to check stock on a particular item, or if you are ordering large quantities of an item. Orders received by 2:00 PM Eastern Time Zone are normally shipped the same day as received, otherwise they will be shipped the next business day. We will automatically email you the UPS Tracking # when your order is shipped, to confirm actual shipment and to enable you to track the shipment. Be sure you use a valid email address on your order, otherwise our email will not reach you. UPS Ground Shipping Our standard shipping in the Continental US is via UPS Ground, because it is reliable, consistently meets time schedules, and you can track the progress and delivery of your order. Sometimes we will ship small items (such as remotes and bypass/interface modules) via United States Postal Service USPS Priority Mail instead of by UPS Ground. However, we do not offer USPS Priority Mail shipping option in the Continental US in our shopping cart because we use it only selectively for certain products and weight sizes. We also offer UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS Next Day Air shipping for your convenience. Free Shipping Auto Preservers is proud to offer you Free UPS Ground Shipping within the Continental United States on all orders over $150.00 in product amount. We also provide "less than actual shipping cost" rates for UPS 2nd Day Air and for UPS Next Day Air Service for orders over $150.00 in product value. Basically, we reduce the actual UPS 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air rates by approximately $8.00, to adjust for the Free Ground shipping. Continental US: Shipping Rates Our shipping and handling charges within the Continental U.S. are on a graduated basis; the larger your order, the less you pay for shipping, and orders over $150.00 are shipped Free via UPS Ground and at reduced rates for UPS 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air. Orders up to $25.00, shipping & handling rates (includes a $5.00 small order fee): UPS Ground $8.95 UPS Ground - FREE Shipping (a) UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air shipments are being offered as a convenience to our customers when they need more immediate delivery of the product. The actual UPS 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air rates are difficult to estimate because with the fluctuating fuel prices, UPS revises their fuel surcharge on a frequent basis. Therefore, actual shipping & handling charges may vary from those shown above. We will automatically adjust your invoice upward for the actual UPS cost if it exceeds the 'estimated costs' shown above, and ship to comply with your 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air service request. (We have previously attempted to contact customers with shipping cost adjustments, however in most cases we were not able to make contact, and/or, it resulted in delaying the shipment, which seems contrary to the customer's desires for requesting 2nd Day Air, or Next Day air shipment in the first place.) Alaska: We ship to Alaska via USPS Priority Mail or by UPS Ground, depending on weight and rates. Replacement remote transmitters are generally shipped by USPS Priority Mail for the $8.95 shipping rate (as shown on your invoice), the same base rate as for UPS Ground shipments within the continental US. This same $8.95 rate applies for any orders up to 1 Lb. For larger orders, we will adjust the shipping cost on your invoice and ship via the best method. We presume that Alaskians are very knowledgeable with the shipping rates from the Continental US to Alaska and therefore we will contact you first with the actual shipping charges only if the cost is significantly higher than this $8.95 amount. Then we will email you with the shipping choices and costs for you to choose the method you prefer before we process and ship your order. Hawaii: We ship to Hawaii via USPS Priority Mail or by UPS 2nd Day Air, depending on weight and rates. Replacement remote traansmitters are generally shipped by USPS Priority Mail for the $8.95 shipping rate (as shown on your invoice), the same base rate as for UPS Ground shipments within the continental US. This same $8.95 rate applies for any orders up to 1 Lb. For larger orders, we will adjust the shipping cost on your invoice and ship via the best method. We presume that Hawaiians are very knowledgeable with the shipping rates from the Continental US to Hawaii and therefore wWe will contact you first with the shipping charges only if the cost is significantly higher than this $8.95 amount. Then we will email you with the shipping choices and costs for you to choose the method you prefer before we process and ship your order. Canada: We ship to Canada via USPS First-Class Mail International or by UPS Standard Rate. Replacement remote transmitters are shipped by USPS First-Class Mail International for $8.95 (the same base rate as within the US). This same $8.95 rate applies for any orders over $25.00 that weigh up to 1 Lb. The rate for orders under $25.00 is $13.95, the same as the small order rate in the US. For larger orders, we will contact you by email with specific instructions for ID requirements, and with the shipping choices and costs. International Orders: Due to the high shipping costs and the time consuming procedures required for international credit card approvals, we have discontinued shipments to international countries. Should you have a special request, and are prepared to prepay your order via an American Express International Money Order, please contact us by email with your inquiry. We do not accept international credit cards. |
