DEI 485M Replacement Remote The DEI 485M is now the correct and only replacement for the DEI 491T Remote  | 4-button, Pre-coded HF 434 MHz, 60-channel, Red LED, Code-Hopping(68 billion rolling codes), replacement remote.
The DEI 485M is used with HF 434 MHz DEI Systems where the CPU ("the brain") has the capability to "learn and store" the code from a pre-coded replacement remote.
The DEI 485M is pre-coded at the factory with so each 485M remote has a different unique "code" and is then "programmed" into your system's CPU.
The 4-button DEI 485M replacement remote is compatible with the 2-button DEI 491T replacement remote. Either replacement remote can be used on Red LED, HF 434 MHz, 68 billion rolling code DEI Systems. The DEI 485M is now also the correct and only replacement for the DEI 491T remote which was recently discontinued by the manufacturer.
The DEI 485M is ideal for multi-vehicle operations. If you have two (or more) vehicles with DEI HF 434 MHz, red LED systems (alarms, remote starters or keyless entry), you can program the DEI 485M into both vehicles so you will have a remote that can operate either vehicle. One Remote and keys for both vehicles! Very convenient! |
This HF 434 MHz transmission frequency replaced the older 302 MHz transmission frequencies and provides increased transmission distance and reduced signal interference.The DEI 491T 2-button and the DEI 485M 4-button replacement remotes cannot be used on older systems that used the 302 MHz transmission frequencies.You must use the correct remote that matches your DEI system.
