| The DEI 456A Interfaces with specific GM Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile and Pontiac vehicles.
The 456A converts the signals from keyless entry, alarm, and remote start systems directly into signals that can be understood by the vehicle's data bus system. This allows interfacing with the factory security and door lock system through the existing factory data wire in the vehicle. The 456A also operates the smart dome light integration on some vehicles. |

| The DEI 456A harness wires connect to the DEI (or other brand) CPU alarm, keyless entry, or remote start Door Lock / Unlock Outputs and the Door Trigger Input if you are installing an alarm. Then connect the DEI 456A Data Bus Output to the vehicle's Data Bus wire at the Diagnostics Connector located at the bottom of the dash on the driver's side. That's it!
